How do you use it?

Are there any online instructions on how to use the library plug-in. I tried and what I end up with looks nothing at all remotely like your screenshot of what its supposed to look like.
I need some basic beginners instructions obviously.
For example I put in a normal sized book cover image and it displays it huge and horrible – bigger than the screen.
It created a page and I can’t find the page in my list of pages.
