I have been trying to update the plugin to 3.1.22 since 3.1.21 crashed my site and I cannot even get into the admin page. I have auto-update on this plugin but it didn’t update and when I tried to delete the plugin from the WP mobile app, it shows the following error message: “An error occurred while configuring the plugin: The jetpack site in inaccessible or returned an error – HTTP status code was not 200 (500) [-32300]”

I emailed the support, and I received the following message which doesn’t resolve my problem:

Thanks for reaching out and reporting this issue!

For now we removed the 3.1.21 version of the plugin and released 3.1.22 which contains the 3.1.20 code. This should allow users to auto update to the version without any issues as well as prevent anybody from downloading the version with the fatal error. Let me know if you have any issues getting the plugin activated again.

We’ll be updating our testing and QA process to ensure that an issue like this doesn’t make its way to our users again. Apologies for the inconvenience, if you have any questions please let me know.

    Best regards,

Can someone help me how to update the plugin when I am unable to access the jetpack or the wp-admin page? Thank you so much for your help

    Hey @norikod1

Do you have FTP access to the site? If so, you could rename the plugin under wp-content/plugins/google-calendar-events to something else (like google-calendar-events2). That should disable the plugin which would prevent any errors that may be output from it.

Yes, that resolved the issue and my site is up and running now. Thank you so much for your help!
