• I have assigned some new posts a specific catagory and created a page for them to show up on. I can’t find the documentation that tells me how to have the posts show up on a particular page.

I know it must be simple thing to do but I just can not find it.

  • Hi,

Create menu item – category – choose your category.

Thanks but that is not exactly what I want to do. I probably should have been a little more clear with the question.

I have a page titled “understanding woodrat” that will be on the navigation bar. When I add that page to the navigaion bar all the posts show up. I want just the posts catagorized as “TIPS” to show up on that page.

Don’t create a page, or a custom menu item. Just add the category to the menu, and it should link to the archive.

… in this case your url will be example.com/category/tips/ menu item can have tittle ”Understanding woodrat”

If you really want category to be displayed on page instead of post archive (as category) you can use plugin something like this

Thanks Peter, Busy with some other things now and don’t have time to try this but it looks like the plug-in will do what I want.

Still perplexed as to how it is working in other areas of the website with pages and posts created by a different author without this plug-in.
