• I used to have a separate feed for podcast and blog because they were on different sites.

Is there a way to separate the audio I want to keep on my site from the audio through the podcast going to iTunes?

Currently, both go in the podcast episode dropdown and I use the powerpress shortcode. Is there a way to change this from within the plugin so I can have the sample audio for a product not go into my iTunes feed but still play on the website?

    Thank you.

I want to make sure I’m understanding your question. You currently have two different sites. The first site already had audio files on it that you’ve linked to, but does not have a podcast feed. The second site has a podcast feed, and you’d like to migrate that podcast feed to the first site, but you want to make sure the audio files you’ve already linked to on the first site don’t wind up in the podcast feed after it’s been migrated.

    Is that correct?

No. Sorry for not being clear. I’ve just recently combined two sites on a new site so for the first time the podcast feed and the blog feed are from the same feed.
I have audio now appearing in iTunes that I want to just be on the site.

How do I keep them apart?

Log into your site and go to PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Feeds. Click the button next to Do Not Enhance Feeds at the top and click the Save Changes button. That should keep PowerPress from modifying the main feed of your website at example .com/feed/ You’ll still have the special podcast-only feed available that includes your podcast episodes. The URL for that feed is listed on the same page as the feed settings.
