How do you save edits to templates?

    Just installed Lite for first time. Very nice and easy. But I cannot figure out how to save my edits to templates. There is no “Save” button. My changes do not save automatically.

    And when I send a test message after making edits, the default message is send without my edits.

    Also, what are:

    Edit Post Template
    Edit Post Divider Template

    These freeze the page when I press them.

    Just to be clear… I am trying to edit the System Templates for my list, specifically the “Subscription confirmation” template.

    Hi Mike,

    The changes you make to the template are saved automatically. I edited the template and sent it to myself. The changes were applied.

    “Edit Post Template” and “Edit Post Divider Template” allow to customize the template for blog posts. Here you can change the look how blog posts excerpts will be inserted and divided when you send a post digest. You can read more information about it here

    These options work well for me too.

    Please, see maybe there is a conflict with any other plugin or your theme. De-activate all plugins except WPNewsman and see how editing of the template works. If it works well, start activating the plugins one by one and notice the plugin after which it stops working. That last plugin causes the problem. Please, report that plugin to us.

    If the problem still persists when all plugins are de-activated, try to temporarily switch to the default theme and see how the email templates in WPNewsman work. Probably there is a conflict with your custom theme.

    Hi, thanks for the helpful response. Yes,the plugin All In One WP Security & Firewall is causing the conflict. It’s a pretty extensive plugin that we relay on heavily. Any suggestions on how to overcome the conflict?

    Hi, as a workaround you can temporarily disable the All In One WP Security & Firewall plugin, edit the email templates in WPNewsman as you want and then re-activate All In One WP Security & Firewall.
