How do you re-install Elementor Pro and recover settings from the old plugin?

Hi, I first tried using the chat box on your main website, but that didn’t go well. In case, you did receive that message, apologies for the duplicate. So I have a client that bought Elementor Pro a while back but did not update the plugin for a long time. My investigation also shows that the client’s Pro license must have expired.
The problem I have now is that after updating the website and its plugins, Elementor Pro caused an error that forced me to disable it. In doing so, the pages that use certain elements from Elementor Pro are now missing those elements. The Elements worked before the update even though the Pro license must have expired.
I want to know. Can I buy Elementor Pro, re-install it, and recover the elements/settings from the current Elementor Pro plugin folder on the site. I basically want to install a fresh copy but somehow transfer those elements settings from the old plugin folder, so we don’t have to rebuild the entire thing.
The error itself was about making theme-document.php in modules public, but when I tried changing permissions from 644 to 755, it did not work. I have since changed things back to 644.
