How do you give a theme with settings and plugins?

  • I want to create a theme to give to others

    The them will need to have specific settings and have certain plugins activated

    How can I give a ‘packaged theme’ – so the user has to just drop into place and its settings are exactly how they were intended?

    I’m not sure where to start

    Hmmm… I actually needed a reply on this one ??

    Though… I think I may have found my answer

    I’ve purchased an excellent theme – it’s fully documented and comes with many functions and layouts

    ALL of the sophisticated code seems to be built into the theme
    The theme is *very* advanced (yet, sleek and elegant)
    But, it comes with no plugins

    Everything seems to be built in

    Is this the general approach to take – as opposed to bundling with 3rd party plugins?
