    Hello,

Because soundcloud is gold is requesting the player with the url http and not https, I am getting a mixed content warning and therefore does not display.

Is there a way to force the plugin to use https?

    Thanks,

  • Same happening here. Any workaround? Thanks!

I’m having the same issue on my https site, can’t get the plugin to work at all. Would be very interested in a fix, as this seems to be the best Soundcloud player around!

    Hi Guys,

Sorry about that, I thought I did a fix for this in the past but I must thought of it and not actually done it.

I delay the next release for a bit and add a fix for it. I’m thinking either:

    • Check if the website is using Https or Http and change the player accordingly. But not sure if this will always be 100% reliable.
    • Add a “Force https” tick box in the Option panel. But that mean if some pages aren’t using https then the player would (would that be an issue?)

Any suggestions on the best approach?

    Cheers

So I’ve done none of that. As Soundcloud uses https anyway, all Soundcloud API calls will now use https, starting 2.4. Should be fine for everyone.

Just to be sure. Could you give me more details on your issue?
