    Greetings!

If I have a paragraph of text in my post editor and I want to put a picture in the middle of the text, I cannot. The picture wants to be on it’s own line with text above and text below, but no text to the right or left.

I have unplugged all the plugins and tried. Got the same.

I’ve tried different pic formats: bmp, jpeg, tiff, gif, and png. Still the same problem.

I’m using a new HP Pavillion dv7 with Vista premium 64, and 4 gigs of ram.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks!
    Nick

  • If you are using the rich text editor, just select the image then click on the image editing icon in the toolbar…should be pretty self-explanatory from there.

Hmmmm. I’m using the “visual” mode in 2.8 and don’t see any image editing icon. I see the “add image” icon and it lets me put the pic left or right but I still have the same text issue.

Or are you talking about some kind of rich text editor plugin?

    Thanks!

Sorry…I was thinking about an older version and about wrapping text around right or left…not sure how to get the image in the middle of a block of text with the text wrapping around it…

I found the answer! Insert the pic into your text, then click on the pic and an editor icon appears on your pic that you can click on and set how you want the text laid around your pic. Pretty cool! This is in version 2.8.
