How do you fix `http error 500′?
-
Can not login into my website. Get `http error 500′
My ISP hosting won’t help. They said it’s not a PHP problem.
I connected with FileZilla ftp to try fix the problem:
First added .bak to .htaccess file. Result, still couldn’t login to website, so removed the .bak from the end of the filename. So that didn’t work.
Also deleted some plugins, and changed permissions to 755.
But still got `http error 500′ and therefore still can’t login to my website admin dashboard.
The public can’t visit my site either. Google search says site: `Not secure.’
Has someone hacked into my website admin and changed the settings?
I’m not IP clever. Have no website developer, because I’m a pensioner. So need simple instructions how to fix the problem.
Please, can someone help me.The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
