How do you enable or set up the Widget areas?

    Hi
    Having problems setting up the widget areas, the information supplied in the Customiser doesn’t make sense. How do you change the page whilst in the Customiser?

    What am I doing wrong?

    It’s Ok I disabled <?php mesmerize_get_footer_content(); ?> as I wanted to change the content in the Copyright area.

    Someone has posted how to do it so I need to find it now and add it to the functions file.
