    Hello.

I’m trying to display a book cover that is being used as the featured image. The image is being cropped in the widget. Is it possible to un-crop it? If so, could you explain how?

    Thanks in advance!

(note: widget is being used in the footer of the page x3)

Hi @3pt. I think there are three increasingly complex options that can potentially resolve your problem depending on your technical comfort level and needs.

    1. The “Big” image size doesn’t crop the image, so that’s what I would start with. (Note, if the original image uploaded is smaller than the space you want to fill, the widget will never make the image bigger.)
    2. If you want to adjust one of the existing image sizes, you can define a new one and replace an FPW layout image size with the fpw_image_size filter.
    3. Alternately, you can define a completely custom layout with the fpw_widget_templates filter.

    Hope that helps!

Given that there hasn’t be a response for 5 months, I’m marking this as resolved. Please open a new thread if you’re still having a problem!
