• I’ve managed to get the menu working ok using the WP3 navigational menu, but can’t figure out how to get it to show 2nd, 3rd, etc levels as sub-menus for the sub-categories.

    How is this done?

    Thanks

  • Are you talking about Appearance > Menus. If you drag menu items over to the right slightly from their current position you can nest or unnest. Then you can drag around the parent and all its children will come with it.

All you need to do is drag the page you want 2nd level under the parent slightly to right and do the same for a page you want in 3rd level under 2nd level.

I’ve now done that (which was nice and easy), but the second menu isn’t showing up.

It should appear under ‘Menu 1’ and is called ‘Menu 2’ (nobody accused me of being original):

You need to keep all of the items in one menu. Drag a sub-category item to the right and you’ll see an indented second level area appear. Drag s sub-sub item further right and you’ll see a third level indent etc.

Take a look here for a refresher video walk through: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wB81jDaYD8
