How do you activate a widget?

    Totally new to html and blogging. I’m trying to upload and install new widgets. First, there does not appear to be a ‘widget’ folder inside the plug ins folder. Where do I upload widgets then?
    Second, how do I activate them?

    Silly me. I couldn’t find any documentation on this. Guess it was so obvious that no one mentions it. Anyway, I realize now that I only need to visit Plugins to activate them. How fun?
