How do we track social links as outbound links in Google Analytics?

Hello,
I’m trying to track the outbound social links in Google Analytics.
According to what I’m reading this requires a change to the link code itself.
https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1136920
In particular we “need to add (or modify) the onclick attribute to your links”.
Can you tell us how to do this with this plugin?
