How do we know if SEO Ultimate works?

    I put on meta keywords, description and do all sort of stuff in admin box but when I go to google my site doesn’t come up in google at all
    Is there any way to make sure that the SEO Ultimate works?

    Also my site’s title only come up in Google but not other search engine, like yahoo and bing. How do I improve this?

  • Have you tried checking the source code of your web pages? You should also be aware that Google ignore meta-keywords in preference to actually indexing your page content itself.

    I’m sorry I am a newbie in SEO, what do you mean source code? You mean the title tag and so forth?
    If Google ignore meta-keywords then what is the function of the meta keywords in the SEO plugin?

    The source code is the actual markup that generates your pages. In IE, right click on an empty area of a page and then select “View source”. The meta tags are near the very top of the source code.

    Yes I tried and the canonical, meta description and meta keywords are there. But why on some keywords I tried to google them but I still can’t find my web? Is it because I need to do something else to the SEO plugin or is it just because the keyword is highly competitive.
