How Do use CSS to position the button on the page?

Using WP 4.0 Using 2014 theme. Using child theme for customizations.
Operating locally using MAMP so can not show website.
Can I use the child theme style sheet I created to customize my maxbuttons?
Can I use .CSS to reposition these buttons on my page?In the text view showing what content is already on my Home Page, I see the following:

<img class=”alignnone wp-image-80 size-medium” src=”http:…How do I write the css code for that button on my style.css file of my child theme?
Already tried .maxbutton_id=”1″ with no change.
