How do tags work?

    I am trying to understand how to use your tags feature, but I don’t.

    I create some tags in the section Wishlist Tags and also when I edit a wishlist (I see that if I write up there a new tag, it is created in WP section Wishlist Tags).
    I see they appear on the wishlist page where I created them, but I do not understand how could I use them.
    I mean, I do not understand how they work, why they should be useful. Because when I click on one of them, nothing happens, just a ‘#’ is appended to the URL..

    Could you kindly briefly explain this functionality?
