How do short link codes work exactly?

  • I use a page template for my WooCommerce products so that if ever I need to make changes, I only need to edit 1 page to effect all products.

    How would you recommend that I use the “add to cart” button on my template page?

    I tried using the short code %URL% but that does not work.

    It would be nice if each page could be assigned an ASIN# that the template can pull from.

    Normally you would add a shortcode to the page:

    [amazon asin=0123456789&template=add to cart]
