How do my clients respond back when I send them a reply in the ticket system?

When I send my client a message within the ticketing system, my message will then be sent to my client’s email address that they provided. So how do they respond back if they need to?
If they click “reply” in their email account, their reply will just be sent to my email address that’s set up within the ticketing system. So the only way I’d know if they replied is to check my email. Is there a way for when my client responds via email, there reply will load along with my messages I’ve already sent them in the ticket system?
Does this make sense? Ideally, I don’t want to have the ticketing system and my email account open together. I want my sent messages and my clients responses to appear in the ticket system.
