• Hi,

Despite having comments disabled, today I discovered that this theme creates an HTML page for every image I upload with comments enabled by default. I have been getting hundreds of comments a day and didn’t even know it.

Needless to say there are far too many comments to delete manually, and the the bulk action in the admin page is good for about 20 images at a time.

Someone please tell me there’s another way to mass-delete all of these insidious comments!

    Thanks ??

PS. I also edited the images.php page to remove the line that enables comments. Time will tell if that works or not… if someone knows please enlighten me

  • You can change the number of Pages that are displayed from 20 to, say, 200 or even 400 so you don’t have to do the bulk edits so often. Click on the Screen Options tab in the upper right corner and change 20 to however many pages you want displayed. Then, after you’ve deleted all of your comments, you can change it back to 20.

By the way, you shouldn’t edit the theme files directly. If you ever update the theme, your changes will be lost. Suggested practice is to create a child theme and make any changes to a copy of the file you want to modify.
