• I am new to WordPress, and need a little help “finding” the slider that is on the demo of The Travel Theme. My URL is morningtown.net Does anyone have any brilliant ideas? Thanks!

    I was trawling the internet for themes and this one popped up with its own url, thetraveltheme.com. Perhaps it wasn’t the best choice? I am open to others of course. I can see that the slider is tied to the featured images in the posts, and I see the little grey circles at the top indicating the images are in the slider, I just can’t physically see them. Thanks again for any assistance!

    I suggest using Theme’s from well trusted and well known developers that are widely used and fully compatible with your version of WP, which should be the latest always. A common mechanism to gain access to sites it to trick folks into using code modified to do so.

    A quick google search of this domain notes the main site having a last update date of Jan. 2011, it is running an outdated version of WP, complaints of poor support…

    You may want to look for one here (see links above) and use the filters. Those themes are supported here, unfortunately, your current theme is not.

    You are correct. I changed the theme to a well supported WordPress one, Voyage. Thanks! Much better…
