• I use the Revisionary plug-in for a couple of our blogs and wonder if that app is causing APD Filler to not work the way it’s meant. I’ve toyed with the settings and the dates shown are never correct.

If the app is incompatible with Revisionary (which if you’re not aware, allows one to edit a specific post for future dates), I’d just like to know so I can search for another solution.

Otherwise, thank you for a fine plug-in!

I don’t know this plugin, but unless it’s doing the same thing APDF is supposed to do (modify the default date and time when scheduling posts via the post editor), it shouldn’t be incompatible with mine plugin.

” I’ve toyed with the settings and the dates shown are never correct. “

    Could you please elaborate?

I’ve adjusted the custom date and custom time settings and still find that the final date shows up as several days before the post hits. Because I schedule these posts (it’s a daily Health Tips feature) sometimes two weeks in advance, I need them to show the scheduled day as the date it posts. Screen shot attached so that maybe you can spot an error I might be making. Thank you.

Assuming the post types and statuses are set up correctly, when you click the “Edit” link in the “Publish” widget on the post editor page, you should see the same date and time as shown next to the chosen options on the settings page. Are you seeing something else?

Well, that may be the problem. With Revisionary, I don’t actually hit “Publish”, I hit “Schedule Now”. That necessary step may be changing how APDF works. Here’s what it looks like before I actually apply it.

Ah, I see. APDF doesn’t actually do any scheduling or post date modification – it just replaces the default date and time values in the “Publish” widget. If you aren’t using this widget to schedule your posts, then my plugin won’t help you achieve what you want. Sorry.
