How do I use Duplicator on cPanel?

    Thank you for this wonderful plugin.

    I bought an already duplicated wordpress membership site.

    The website has been duplicated using your Duplicator.

    How do I upload it and make a live website using Hostgator’s cPanel or FTP?

    And since I’ve many other websites on my hosting account, what parameters should I use for the following:

    Settings:

    Package name:
    Package Url:
    Install Url:

    Database
    host:
    Name:
    User:
    Password:

  • Hi Dooba,

    For the Install URL: you will need to enter in the domain name of the url you are getting ready to deploy/install the site on to. If its resides in a sub-directory then you would enter something like:
    https://mywebsite.com/mysubdirectory/

    For the Database Parameters you will first need to create the database, and then add a database user. Then you will need to enter those parameters into the database fields. See this video for more information on how to create the database and user.

    In the video at about the 1:05 mark when you go from downloading the 2 files to the installer screen, what happens in between? How did you get from the completed downloads to the installer screen?

    Hey sondoo,

    The only think that happens is that both files complete downloading. Then you open a web browser and browse to the intaller.php file. Note the location that I browse to has a web server installed.
