How do I upload photographs/images to my blog with wordpress

  • Am sure I am just technologically challenged, but have tried several avenues with no luck. Is there a simple way to upload photos to my blog?

  • ftp or use the upload feature within the admin panel itself ??

    I did that using the upload feature in the admin panel of my blog, it says it is uploaded, but then I cannot locate it to insert it into the day’s blog???

    When you upload it, it gives you the link to the file. You can control where it gets uploaded to by logging in as admin and going to Options–>Miscellaneous

    Where is the upload feature? I can not find it in 1.5.

    Nevermind, I just discovered the img tag.

    Well actually, that isn’t an “upload feature”, so i guess I am still looking.

    I don’t know that wp HAS an “upload feature”. My assumption is that you would use whatever flavor of ftp client you prefer/have handy to put files into whichever folder you told wp to use….
