How do I update?

The paid version became version 4, which is now available for free here. However, the new version is different from 3.x and previous versions, so it’s not possible to update automatically. You will need to recreate the sliders in the new version if you want to use it, but you need to check if what you want to achieve is provided in this version because, while the new versions has some new features and it’s much improved, it doesn’t include all the features of the older version.

David, similar issue for us. We just took over an older site using slider pro v3.9.3.
That version had export function which created an XML file for each slider.

Any chance we can use that file format to import into sliderpro v4.7.8?

If not, any other process outside of recreating from scratch? We have 36 sliders to migrate.

I’ve put it on the list to make it possible for the newer version to import older sliders in XML format. However, an import like this will take into account only content and settings that is common/equivalent to both versions, like images, thumbnails, width, height etc. I’m hoping to release this feature in 1-2 months. Right now I’m doing some other work on the plugins.

I’ve just released an update that allows the import of older sliders in XML format. Please note that some features, which are not available in the new slider version will not be imported. Also, because of the differences between versions <3.9 and 4.X, you might need to make some adjustments after an import, especially for styling, since the new version has a more minimalistic look.
