How do I track an IP address?

1) “How do I see the visitor’s IP address?”

The submitter’s IP address can be viewed in two locations:

– As a custom field named user_submit_ip that is attached to the post
– In the USP meta box on the “Edit Post” screen

2) “how do I ban IP?”

USP focuses on forms and does not handle any banning stuff. But there are plenty of plugins out there that can be used to ban users based on their IP address.
