How do I temporarily disable the notifications of new posts to subscribers?

  • I have Aspen and I want to make up some posts that I missed, so I don’t want subscribers to get a bunch of email notifications. (And I don’t want to enter any CSS – because that screen says not to edit it.) I don’t know which plug-in causes the email notifications.
    Under Settings/Writing there’s a field called Update Services and it says https://rpc.pingomatic.com/
    I deleted that and clicked Save and made a new post and the system still sent the email notifications. My site is realfoodyear.com Thanks.
