How do I switch to Yoast from another SEO plugin?

    If there are instructions for switching to Yoast from another SEO plugin (in this case, Platinum SEO), can someone please direct me to them?

    If there are no specific instructions for switching from an earlier plugin, would I disable and delete the previous SEO plugin BEFORE installing and configuring Yoast, or AFTER?
