Can anyone help me? This is the fourth time I have posted a different topic and no one has helped me! i just need some help.

One possibility is that your closing caption brackets from image 1 and opening caption brackets from image 2(etc) have no space between them. Try going to your post -you may want to use the html editor- and adding a space between the images you inserted, and see if that puts the captions back where they belong. That’s just a guess, mind you.

I have had a similar problem but its usually caused by having some coding within the image title or caption or some funny characters that corrupt the html tag and may close or open an image tag so make sure you do not have any of these characters in the caption, title, and alternate text ( " [ { - / <> ' For me removing those characters has solved my problem.

If you understand what I mean is that the html tag can be closed or even its definition changed like this <img alt= "my"image name" > so you see that your alternative name has now messed up the alt tag.

Just to clarify a bit: this symptom can -and does- occur when you post images back to back, leaving no space between the closing caption tag of the lead photo, and the opening caption tag of the following photo. In “html” view, the problem code will look like this:

    [/caption][caption id="attachment_1234" align="alignleft" width="150" caption="your caption"]

Note the lack of a space between the tags in bold. Simply putting a space between those tags usually solves the issue. But, there could be more to it than that I suppose. Let us know how you make out!
