How do I stop comments being in a new paragraph?

  • Hi,

    I have no <p> tag around comment_text() in comments.php in my theme, but for some reason the comments appear inside <p> tags, how do I stop this happening?

    Can anyone tell me which wordpress script file adds the <p> tags to the comment?

    I’ve tried using grep to search through all the files for some keywords but no luck finding the exact line yet..
