    I would like to use the APA style, however, since most of my audience isn’t necessarily academically minded, I would prefer to use superscript numbers and then simply have my references at the bottom appear in the order of those numbers. I am using CSS to make numbers appear along the side of them, and they look great. But whenever I use APA, the list appears in the wrong order. I have tried using springer-socpsych-brackets and that puts them in the correct order, but now they’re in a different format.

    So, is there an APA style that will sort by order of appearance in the texst, or can I pass something into the shortcode that will sort them by that order.

    Thank you!

  • I wanted to do something very similar, if I understand you correctly, and so I wrote a plugin that produces output like this, based on the Wikikipedia {{sfnp}} template.

    If that’s the kind of thing you’re thinking of, you’re quite welcome to the source code to do with as you will.

    @ericcorbett2 Hey, that’s really cool.

    However, I think I found out how to do it with ZotPress now as well. I just need to add forcenumber=”true” to the shortcode and that forces it to order by the numerical order it appeared in the article.

    Whatever works is a win. ??
