    can anybody help?…

    Yep.

It will not work like that. remove the rel=”lightbox” – it will not be taken into account by the plugin or WP itself.

Just create a gallery – if you have lightbox enabled for galleries it should work out of the box.

If it doesn’t, please post a link to your site.

Exact same problem here, it didn’t seem to work for existing galleries so I tried manually adding the rel=”lightbox” and it didn’t change anything. Not sure what that setting does inside responsive lightbox where it says: Select to which rel selector lightbox effect will be applied to.

I then edited an existing post, removed the gallery, inserted it again (while responsive lightbox plugins is active) saved and refreshed but still not working.

Can you spot any problems here: https://pacura.ru/portrait/shoot-for-zando-co-za/ (PrettyPhoto selected with default settings)

I have the same issue, any progress on this? Here is my site: https://www.automotivexposure.com/

@adavenue2015, first, I don’t see RL code at all.

Secondly, the gallery lilnks are like this: rel=”prettyPhoto[postImages]”.

You may try chanhgin RL selector to “prettyPhoto” or andjust the gallery code.

    Hi,
got the same problem, added a gallery, installed plugin, set add lightbox for each gallery in the plugin settings, but nothing happens. Here is the site: https://www.brasserielebohey.lu/

Running WP 4.3 with RL 1.6.1; tried various options, prettyphoto, etc.
    What shall I do?

@fprati pls post a link to a page that contains native WP gallery.

It’s the home page, at the bottom, and any page sidebar

RL can’t automatically handle lightbox for images and galleries that don’t come from the post content.

So it’s not an issue – it’s just the way it works. You have to apply data-rel=”lightbox” attribute to these items manually – to each image link you wan’t to be opened with a lightbox effect.

Im having some issues as well. I’m trying to start a video in lightbox from a link, like this:

    <a href="videolink.mp4" data-rel="lightbox" >Watch The Video</a>

Is there a way to do this or should this be working?

    Plugin Author dFactory

    (@dfactory)

This intended for embed Youtube and Vimeo videos. If you want to use video uploaded to your media library it is possible in the iframe mode only.

If I want to create a lightbox gallery in a page, what should I change here?

    [gallery link="none" size="medium" ids="48,44" data-rel="lightbox"]

    Plugin Author dFactory

    (@dfactory)

    @onedaycompany,

Just remove data-rel=”lightbox” and enable lightbox for galleries in RL setting.

hi there, is this the same for a page, not a post? in your comment above you said:

RL can’t automatically handle lightbox for images and galleries that don’t come from the post content.

So it’s not an issue – it’s just the way it works. You have to apply data-rel=”lightbox” attribute to these items manually – to each image link you wan’t to be opened with a lightbox effect.

so what should I change in my shortcode to get this to work?

I’m trying to apply the RL to image links but I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. This is the page with the images that need to be in a Lightbox:

    https://www.violapranddesign.com/press/

These are covers of magazines, and there are additional images of interior pages that are hidden and should show as part of the lightbox when a thumbnail is clicked. I applied the data-rel=”lightbox” attribute to my first 5 images to test it and nothing happens.

    Help please!
