How do I set the category name instead of the category ID

    Hello,

    Thanks for creating such a wonderful plugin!

    I would like to ask if it’s at all possible, at the Field Mapping, to use the Category Name instead of the Category ID. Screenshot here: https://prnt.sc/ttj6oa

    I’m trying to run FB Ads, and when I try to create a Product Set, I only see numbers in the Category drop down list. Screenshot here: https://prnt.sc/ttj76y

  • Hi Joy,

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. The ID’s you are seeing are the category ID’s of Google’s category taxonomy (based on the category mapping you did). Unfortunately we cannot change those to the Google category names. You can however, when it is an option for you, fill that field with your own category namming?

    All you have to do is change the field mapping to this:
