    Hi,

I have a page on my site that is generated by a plugin, and I have added the meta description and feature image, but when I few the page source and I cant see them, there is a comment from Yoast that says “This page does not show a meta description because it has no description.”

I have contact with your support and they tried to fix it but they couldn’t.

Now, I want to add it by myself through custom code.

    like this one: https://medium.com/@harshcrop/wordpress-og-tags-scrtip-no-need-to-use-third-party-plugins-bb82731cd4d0

and I want this only to show on a specific page.

    Hello Xabdu,

Thanks for reaching out regarding your meta description. To provide some context, can you share the URL of the page? This help article will guide you on how to fix the issue with meta description.

Unfortunately, we are unable to guide you on how to use custom code.

This is for all the pages, and I need only to a specific page?

    Hi @xabdu

In that same help center article, if you scroll down further, there is an example image of the Yoast SEO meta box when editing a specific post or page, where you can set a custom meta description for that specific post or page.

Could you try adding a meta description in the meta description field in the Yoast SEO meta box and then view the page source and see if the meta description outputs?

Otherwise, please provide us with a URL to your site where this issue occurs so we can check on it further.
