How do I restore a deleted user?

  • I’ve deleted a user and consequently deleted all associated posts. (New to this and didn’t know that would happen.)

    Can I retrieve my posts, or are they gone forever?

  • Gone forever if you didn’t assign them to another user.

    Options:

    1. Restore database backup
    2. look for posts in google cache or wayback https://www.archive.org/index.php

    Thanks for that! Found a page in the cache. Better than nothing….

    I’m now stuck once again, as I can’t seem to post anything to the blog anymore from any of the users (old or new.)

    When I save or publish, it just brings me to the blog page, without doing either. Any ideas?
