  • Clear your cache if you have a caching plugin enabled (like WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache, etc.). Also, clear your browser cache or try accessing the robots.txt file in incognito mode. Temporarily disable all activated plugins and check if any other plugins are activated on the main site that might be affecting the robots.txt file. Also, check your theme functions, some themes have custom robots.txt implementation. If you’re using a web server like Nginx or Apache, check the server configuration files to see if there’s any directive for robots.txt that overrides WordPress settings. Lastly, ensure that network settings are not forcing a specific robots.txt across all sites.
