Hi, I can’t find how to replace the standard icon with my own. I found the page with its settings: /plugins/woocommerce/packages/woocommerce-blocks/src/BlockTypes/MiniCart.php but I don’t think that’s the right way to replace it here, since everything will disappear when you update. So please help me with the solution to my problem.

    Hello @constantinwild,

Sorry, but I’m not sure if I’m getting the full picture here.

Could you please provide more details and attach some screenshots to help understand what you’re trying to achieve?

Feel free to use Snipboard to upload your screenshots.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

Let me explain in more detail what I mean. In the header of the site, I added a widget called mini cart, I really like this widget, but I would like to replace the icon with my own, so here’s the question, how do I do it right? I have doubts that if I change something in the plugin code, then my code will disappear when I update it.

Thank you so much for clarifying! I wanted to make sure we’re on the same page. ??

The cart icon for the mini-cart widget can’t be changed, at least not by default.

Additionally, since this element is part of WooCommerce blocks, normal cart hooks won’t work. You can visit this part of the GitHub repository to learn more about customizing WooCommerce blocks.

That said, I was able to find this extension in the WooCommerce store, in the documentation, there’s a section explaining how to add a custom cart icon.

I should note that all extensions sold on WooCommerce.com have a 30-day refund policy. If the product doesn’t work the way you need it or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to provide a full refund.

    Hope this helps!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
