How do I remove the word “by” from post byline?

  • How do I remove the word “by” from blog post? Or in my case the word “kirjoittaja”. I would like to leave the name of the author and only remove the word kirjoittaja before it (I think that the word kirjoittaja is the translation from the word “by”).   • This would be controlled by your theme. What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

    Yes I know that the theme controls how this looks like, but I thought that the format is somewhat standard at WordPress, this “publishdate by authorname”. I am using generatepress as a theme.
