• Hi there,

Up until now I haven’t had this problem but all of a sudden I have posts appearing in my header menu, at the moment one repeated twice.

I only want pages in my menu.

It seems the only way I can remove these is by deleting the posts all together.

    Can anyone advise?

    Thanks

Check your menu structure Dashboard > Appearance > Menus
Did you add something like “Posts” to be part of your header menu?

You can check in your Admin Panel > Settings > Reading and see if you’ve selected front page display to show pages instead of posts? So there’s no need to delete your posts.

Or another way to check is by going to Appearance > Menus and you’ll be able to manage all your menus.

Have you by any chance changed themes recently?

Just trying to check all possible avenues ??

    Hi,

Thank you for your reply’s but I’ve checked both menu adjustment pages. I haven’t added any other menus, I’ve only used the one theme. just going with default menu which was fine up until today. I’ve looked again and made adjustments but I still have two of the same posts showing in the menu as well as the pages I want to show.

Really scratching my head with this.

Did you find a possible solution with this issue?

    Hello Adeline,

Please forgive me I didn’t answer last time. I did resolve that issue yes but had more issues and I gave up.

However I have returned and I thought I was getting somewhere but now all my sliders have disappeared for the second time. I have trawled through all the topics none of which help.

    Maybe you can help?

    Steve.
