How do I remove posts from a page?

you can disable comments from

dashboard – settings – discussion
(this will only have effect on posts/pages made after the change)

dashboard – pages – all pages – quickedit – untick ‘allow comments’

dashboard – pages – edit page – below the page editor is a field ‘discussion’ where you can untick ‘allow comments’; if this is not there, tick ‘screen options’ near the top right, tick ‘discussion’, then scroll down to below the page editor and untick ‘allow comments’
