How do I remove mesmerize from my URLs and permalinks?

Please, check your permalink settings from WP Admin -> Settings -> Permalinks.

I have the same problem on my website, even if the general and permalinks option is ok.

If I create a new page, the permalink created is “www.mywebsite.fr/mesmerize/my-newpage”. And if I want to modify this permalink, i can’t touch at the “mesmerize/” part of the permalink.

What is the solution to remove this part of the permalink ?

Hi Damien,

It was nothing to do with permalinks for me. It’s because I had set the parent page to ‘frontpage’ when editing a new page.

Try changing the parent page for ‘my-newpage’ and see if it resolves it.

thank you so much. Before your post, I associated to all my pages a parent page that was set ‘frontpage’. I simply unassociated all my pages at the first level.
