How do I remove html from my post

Hello,

I am using my wordpress api to supply my react-native app with data.

How can I remove any html (p, br, special chars etc) thats added to a post? I just need to display raw text in my app – if content is copied from in from somewhere else or content is added through the editor, the styling breaks my view.

Any ideas?
