I’ve been able to use the child style sheet to override and amend various elements for my website but I’m stuck as to how to reduce the space between the top of my page and the top of my main menu.

I’ve tried various approaches (too many to list) but they’ve not worked.

Perhaps the setting is controlled by the space allocated for the logo on the LHS of the webpage?

If anyone has any tips or suggestions I’d love to hear from you.

    Thanks in advance all.

  • Greetings! If you could please post a link to your site, I can help you pinpoint what to change. But also, just to confirm…you want to reduce the space just above the menu only or the whole top header area?

Apologies for not including a link, as below:

My intention was to remove the space above the main menu above the header graphic.

In doing this I would then be able to bring more of the lower half of my webpage(s) ‘above the fold’

    Thanks again.

Just to confirm, as I haven’t added a graphic to the LHS of the webpage (yet) I’m comfortable with either just moving the menu up higher or moving the whole header up higher.

I appreciate that both are different – either would be appropriate at the moment.

I have to say thank you because you just found a mistake on my part. There should be a theme setting to adjust the menu container with a margin. If you contact me from my website, I will send you a fix for this.
