how do i reduce my memory requirements

  • I am having problems with my wordpress. it will not load unless i allocate 96M memory in the wp config

    i get the following

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 48234496 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 190 bytes) in /home/octav/public_html/wp-includes/pomo/mo.php on line 270
