How do I redirect my author page?

I tried to find ‘/author’, but it was not found. But ‘/author/lifetyleswithlauren’ is found. And this turns out to be the blog page.

On the blog there is no link to any author for each post.

The ‘About Lauren’ link on the main menu finds the correct page “About Lauren”.

The plugin allows you to either change the author base and/or the author slug.
