How do I recover the site to yesterday?

Is there an auto backup? I don’t think I created one, where would I look to find out?

I screwed up somehow and lost my home page. The template is still retrieved but the text has gone, I get ‘oops not found.’

I recreated a page, called it Home and I can view the page but it’s not retrieved when I click my Home tab.

I don’t know how to associate a page with the Home Tab, that would solve my problem – or recovering the whole site to yesterday.

Anyone?
