Can someone tell me how I can reinstall the woocommerce pages?
When I try to use woocommerce checkout, I get this error:

WooCommerce Config Error: The checkout thanks/pay pages are missing – these pages are required for the checkout to function correctly.

Would it be safe if i deactivate or delete woocommerce off my site, and or reactivate or reinstall the plugin? Or would that erase thousands of my products off my website?

Or would it only erase all my checkout settings such as shipping, paypal settings, etc.

(I also want to make sure I get woocommerce 2.0 instead of the newest 2.1 because it isnt compatible with my theme yet)

is it normal for Online Backup for WordPress by Jason Woods, to take longer than 2 days to backup? i finally stopped it after 2 days and it wont go past 74%……..it slowly moves, currently reading images, but not sure if its safe for it to take days to backup.
I have about 1,200 items added in my database.

I do not think that sounds normal, but I have no where near 1,200 items. Try sending the backup to a email account or try changing what you want to backup under Back Up and General Settings. It is probably a good idea to set up a gmail or other email account specifically for this purpose. You could also use the backup database in the GoDaddy control panel. Backup database is under the MySQL Databases section of the Account Snapshot in the hosting part of the Control Panel. If nothing else works, you might be able to contact the plug-in developer and submit the question there. Have a great night!

    thanks so much!
i wasnt sure which one to pick, the incremental backup vault, the store locally backup, or email, but i didnt do the email one since it would be way too big of a file. i chose both the database and filesystem.
im guessing if i choose locally, it will automatically store it in my website somewhere?

maybe i was supposed to have signed up with an account or i missed something somewhere

yes i also did a database mysql backup through godaddy

Yes there is a place to sign up for an account, free. You can use the account for multiple sites. Currently I am using it for three sites. Two are being backed up to my online backup account storage and the other one is coming to my catch all email account. I think you are correct if you choose locally, it will store it in a file on the same server as the site. Just make sure you back up somewhere, especially since you have so many products and have done so much work.

i got the vault to work and backup
    last question………
if i make a local backup database of my site with the wordpress plugin, will it generate it the same place as the godaddy database backup does, or will they be completely different db backups?

i dont want the database to get corrupt somehow if the two types of backups try to save to the same file

once this is done, ill have to find out how to restore the database and recover everything if i ever need to in an emergency

    thanks

Under the Local Backup and Decryption menu item there is an explanation of where local backups are stored on your server. Take a look at the address for the backup location, it is the last line in the third paragraph, and compare the address to the other database backup address on your server. The comparison should tell you everything you need to know. If you have other questions you can email me at [email protected]

can some one help me i just installed woocommerce but i cannot make any change to the settings page. and its chowing “This is a demo store for testing purposes — no orders shall be fulfilled.” i have tried disabling this but but when i click save it return back how i freshly installed it with the changes not applied. pls what do i do?

    ekpessir,

Sorry for the slow response to your problem, hopefully you have already found a solution. If you have not figured out how to solve the problem, try this:

Uninstall the WooCommerce Plugin and then try re-installing. If that does not fix the problem, there could be several things causing your issues. One thing that could be causing the problem is incompatibility with another plugin (try disabling each plugin one at a time to test for an incompatibility issue). Another thing that might be causing this issue is the fact that WooCommerce just went through a major update, as did WordPress. You can also go to the WooCommerce plugins page and choose a more stable version of the plugin, until all of the bugs for the new release are worked out. You can read more about this on my blog at Minds Eye Designs: https://www.minds-eye-designs.com/woocommerce-wordpress-plugin-updates/
