How do I put pictures with my blog?

Hello,

I have been having great trouble with this. How do I put pictures with my blog. I tried getting a photobucket account to host the images because you have to get an url to get them from, and they come out fuzzy. I am told by my supervisor that they have to be loaded onto the server. How do I load them onto the server? I do not see an url or a method to do this? Does anyone have any suggestions?
