    Hi!

This is an awesome plugin. It works fine but I can’t figure out how to put in product attributes in the tab(s). Since it’s a text fiel the only thing I could think of was using code, but I have no idea how that works. Not at all.

So basically I need a custom product attribute in the form of a shortcode that I could paste in the custom tab, so it appears just like in “Additional Information” but in my custom tab.

    For those who are wondering:
My goal is to organize all my attributes, because I have many. I’m making a page about alcohol-based markers, and I included attributes such as wether the marker has a brush nib or not, if it’s refillable or not etc. I divided them in sections such as “Ink”, “Cap”, “Barrel”, “Nibs” and so on.

Also I’m making this locally with XAMPP first, so I can’t provide a link :/ Sorry!

Long story short: Single custom product attribute as a shortcode to paste in a custom tab. I don’t know anything about coding.

    Hi @liiki,

I am glad you like the plugin!

Unfortunately there is no built-in support for custom product attributes in the custom tabs plugin. However, we do have filters that we can try to leverage to achieve this kind of thing.

Which product attributes are you trying to add to your tabs?

    Let me know,
    Kevin.

    Hello Kevin!
Thanks for your reply. There are a lot of attributes I made, that’s why I want them to devide them & out in different tabs.
I’ll just give an example of one section, with the attribute’s name & what terms it has (Select or Text):

    BARREL (name of the tab)
    Shape (Text: round, hexagon…)
    Material (Text: plastic…)
    Size (Text: ??cm/??in)
Information is (Select: printed on, on a sticker)

    Another example:
    INK
    Colours (Text: 200, 180,…)
    Refillable? (Select: Yes, No)
    Inkquality (Text)

    I hope this helps!

    Hi @liiki,

I don’t think we’re going to be able to make this work. It would be a lot of custom coding and without a coding background it would be hard.

I’m really sorry about that Liiki.

    Kevin.

Ok, no problem. Still thanks for trying to help me!
I think I’ll just hide the real attributes & type it normally in the tabs, won’t look as good but still better than nothing.
